Schools in California have been and continued to be underfunded. In California, the average per student funding is $9,400 while the National average is $11,500. The San Francisco Unified District only covers the basic necessities for the school to function. Hence, the Annual Giving Campaign is our biggest donation drive for the year. 

Last year our school raised a total of $69,000. With that amount, our PTA spent an average of $119 per student. This year, we are hoping to increase that amount with your support.

How the Funds are Spent

Except for a small percentage spent on administrative costs, all donations go directly into your child's education and enrichment programs.

Our Goal

This year, our goal is to raise $350 per child, or $600 for families with more than one child. However, we realize that some families will not be able to meet our goal amount. In that case, any contribution that reflects the value you put on your child's education will be greatly appreciated. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

How to Donate

By Check:

Write a check with your donation amount payable to "Robert Louis Stevenson PTA". Either give the check to your child's teacher or drop it off at the main office along with this form. You can fill out the form directly on your computer and print it out.
